Valentine's Day Layout (and January/February Quirky Kit)

Hi all

On Valentines Day, Nathan and I went to York. He took me to dinner at Wagamama and then we spent the afternoon looking round the shops and gardens. It was such a lovely day (bit chilly though!)

Here's a layout I made using a selfie we took in the gardens near the museum. My January/February Quirky Kit arrived last week so I used elements from that in this layout. I love the Project Life cards,  and the acrylic birds are so cute!

Be My Valentine?

Happy Sunday!

It was Valentine's Day yesterday and Nathan and I just stayed in and ordered pizza.

But I wanted to take a selfie because I had an idea for a lovely scrapbook page...

Here it is!

I made this little sequin heart with some clear plastic packaging. I cut out a heart from paper to use as a template, put it inside the packaging and sewed around it with the sewing machine. I left a little gap so I could remove the template and insert the sequins, then sewed the gap up and cut off excess plastic.

I got annoyed making my hot-air-balloon scene so I made this for my fella instead...
