Right Now || Scrapbook Layout

Hi all,

I have another layout to share today that I made for a National Scrapbook Day challenge. This one was to document a selfie/your life 'right now'.
I chose to use this pic of me and Nathan before a date night, I was happy because I had my twirly new dress on and I felt so good!

I've had this gorgeous foiled paper in my stash for a while (Can't remember what collection it's from, though!) I also had these beautiful chipboard stickers by My Mind's Eye that perfectly matched the olive green of my dress. I finished it off with lots of gold embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by!

Love You || Scrapbook Layout || Pink Paislee 'Moonstruck'

Happy Saturday!

I have a layout to share today using my favourite sheet of paper EVER. Yes, you heard me right. I have a favourite sheet of paper. It is from the 'Moonstruck' collection by Pink Paislee, I got it in a 'Like For Ever' Kit last year (I don't know if that still exists?) and I had been hoarding it.

Hoard it no more, I said! I chose to use it to scrap this picture of my boyfriend in the pub on our trip to Edinburgh.

I didn't want to cover the paper up too much though as it is so gorgeous so I opted to paint a small area behind where my picture and embellishments would sit, with gold acrylic paint. I covered various pieces of wood veneer with the same paint and arranged them in a diagonal across the layout. I then added some Pusheen stickers (why not, eh!?), more Moonstruck bits and pieces and gold word stickers. The title is from a rub-on sheet by Jen Hadfield. I finished it off with some spatters of gold ink - I can't find the docrafts gold spray ink any more and it's a real craft staple for me, but thankfully my friend had some spare so sent me it - forever thankful!

Black and Gold || 9x12" Scrapbook Layout || StickerKitten 'Bee Garden'

Hello!

Today I have a layout to share using the Bee Garden collection by StickerKitten.

Last summer I took lots of pictures of the bees in our garden and they are perfect to use with this collection.
The stamps in the collection are so gorgeous and I just had to try some heat embossing with them.

The stencil is by Prima and I used it with some Nuvo embellishment mousse.

Here's what is in the collection. You can find it HERE.
I'm so in love with the sequins!

Thanks for stopping by!

Date Night Scrapbook Layout

Hi all
Now I'm done with commissions for the moment, I set aside to do some scrapping for myself.
A couple of weeks ago, Nathan and I went to Manchester to celebrate being together for 5 years. We went for dinner at Wagamama and then saw Jurassic World.

The title is made with plain Thickers, I love these because you can decorate them however you wish. For this I just coloured them with a metallic Sharpie.

I made a little pocket to put train and cinema tickets in. I die cut a tag, then from the same paper cut a rectangle and wrapped it around the tag to hold the tickets. I used double sided tap on the black paper around the tag so it wouldn't fall through.

Until next time...!

Steampunk Anniversary Card

Hi all

I'm back to share the anniversary card I've made for my boyfriend - we have been together 5 years! He likes steampunk so I incorporated that theme into my card with black and gold embellishments for a classy feel.

To celebrate we spent a couple days in Manchester - went out for dinner, saw Jurassic World (fantastic!), and explored. Would have explored more if the rain wasn't so bad! Also because of the rain there are a grand total of four pictures on my camera and they're all silly ones of Nathan. I took a few more on my phone, think I can manage one layout from this.. haha.
Here we are all dressed up for our meal at Wagamama!
